NESHW has the largest base of large scale solar thermal systems in New England. We are ‘vertically integrated’ as we have all of the relevant disciplines in-house. These include; a solar thermal engineer, commercial pipe fitters, a steel worker, a commercial pipe insulator, a commercial roofer, and laborers. No one else matches our capabilities and familiarity with the trades. Our lack of dependence on subcontractors removes an substantial layer of cost. Our crew is all OSHA 10 or better certified, and we employ one of three NABCEP certified solar thermal installation experts in the state.

One detail that is indicative to our overall quality is our system monitoring. We have simply the best monitoring capabilities that exist today. Your system’s performance and operating characteristics will be viewable on-line, where you can view individual temperature, pressure, flow sensors, and energy production. Our systems are also set-up to send an email alarm if there is a problem such as loss of system pressure.

Your NESHW commercial solar hot water project will proceed as with any competent commercial scale mechanical project. We prepare a bid package with submittals, shop drawings, and then close the project out with a structural affidavit, an I/O manual and as-builts. Our documentation and AutoCAD drafting are excellent. We also have experience with DCAM/ prevailing wage compliance from multiple ARRA funded projects.
