New Massachusetts residential solar hot water rebate!

The Mass CEC has just announced a huge new solar thermal rebate, making Mass. one of the best states in the US for residential solar hot water rebates. The NESHW ‘SECUSOL’ Hot Water Appliance is already the best value system available, but the new rebate is worth an additional $1,135 off of your system and this is in addition to the 30% Federal and 15% Ma. tax credits.

NESHW only works with solar hot water. We’re advocates for all forms of renewable energy, but solar hot water, or solar thermal, will almost always have the best payback and return on investment of any renewable technology.

This technology is under-served in the New England market, primarily due to the attention that is currently paid to solar electric, but also because the skill sets required to design and install these system are not yet common.
